Supplies your insurance will pay towards if you have Medicare or Medicaid.

Mask Frame

Every 3 Months

The system that holds your CPAP mask together. It holds the cushion, connects the tubing, and connects to the headgear. 

Headgear

Every 6 months

Elastic band used to hold your CPAP mask in place with straps that go around your head. 

Full-Face Cushion

1 monthly

A soft insert, usually made of silicone or gel that goes inside the mask frame. The cushion touches your skin to create a seal that prevents air from leaking around your nose and mouth.

Nasal Cushion

2 monthly

A soft insert, usually made of silicone or gel that goes inside the mask frame. The cushion touches your skin to create a seal that prevents air from leaking around your nose. Nasal pillow cushions are soft, cone-shaped inserts that sit at the base of your nose to direct airflow into your nostrils. 

Chinstrap

Every 6 months

A soft, stretchy band made out of soft materials to help you keep your mouth closed at night.

Tubing

Every 3 months

The long hose which runs from the sleep apnea machine to the CPAP mask.  

Water Chamber

Every 6 months

The humidifier device that releases moisture from a small tank of distilled water into the air that you breathe from your CPAP machine. 

Disposable Filters

2 monthly

Inserted between your CPAP machine and hose, a bacteria filter will capture and collect germs before they can travel through the hose and into your lungs.(Example: pet hair, dust, and larger allergens )

Non-disposable Filter

Every 6 months

A washable filter.

Replacement Sleep Apnea Machine

Every 5 years

Medicare and Medicaid requires a face-to-face visit with your sleep doctor with written documentation proving you have 70% compliance on your machine usage and that it is deemed medically necessary you need a replacement machine in order for payment towards a new machine.

Supplies your insurance will pay towards if you have a Non-Medicare or insurance through your employer.
